Chelsi Woodson

I love that my job is to make people feel beautiful and start their day with the best version of themselves. This has always been something I hold close to my heart and find majorly rewarding! I started doing hair in high school, I grew up with a beautician as a grandmother and all things beauty were enchanting to me. Fast forward to spring of my senior year, I graduated cosmetology school and couldn’t wait to start getting my hands in hair and begin my journey as a hairstylist.

My career continued when I got the call back from the best known salon in Charlottesville. I assisted for a year and received a ton of amazing one on one education until I was ready to begin establishing myself as a stylist there. Continuously through the years to come I received some amazing education from many companies, as well as extended cutting, event styling, and product training through Bumble and Bumble University. I eventually became one of the top stylists and in-salon educator working with our apprentices and junior stylists.

I have spent the last 13 years perfecting my craft and constantly continue educating myself to give my guests the best experience I can give to them. I love to wake up every morning knowing my day will be filled with smiles and be well spent with people I have truly grown a wonderful relationship with! I am well versed with hair color, cutting and bridal and event styling! Whatever your hair needs I will do my best to deliver!

Other than doing what I love as my chosen career, I have a family that I love and cherish. A pretty amazing husband, two beautiful boys and a pretty cool boxer! When I’m not in the salon I’m doing my best to make the most wonderful memories with the people I love the most!

Chelsi is the best hairdresser I have ever had! When I first came in after years of coloring my own hair, and looking like Elvira, she had me leaving with my original hair color! I was so mad at myself for not going in earlier. I have thick curly frizzy hair and she is a master at cutting & styling it, and giving me suggestions on products that actually work for that. She listens to what you want and actually does it. You never leave saying what the heck did she do to my hair. If you need suggestions or help with a style she is more than happy to help you. She is so personable and friendly she puts you right at ease. I actually enjoy going in to get my hair done. I always book appointments when I leave because if I don't it could be weeks before I get one. She is that good! That in itself speaks for how awesome she is.
